Flushed - Steve is trying to dump Jane, as Patrick is trying to dump Susan. Susan embarrasses him by saying they were never going out in the first place. There is an embarrassing moment in the toilet...
Size Matters - Susan and Steve go on their first date, and Sally cannot decide whether to sleep with Patrick. He's a Tory, but he's a "big boy!"
Sex, Death and Nudity - It is Jane's aunts funeral, and everyone goes, although only Jeff is the only one to have met her. Jane cannot deal with the funeral and laughs in the one minute silence.
Inferno - Steve thinks that Susan has found a porn video "Lesbian Spank Inferno," and when they have a dinner party Steve feels he has to explain the video in embarressing detail. There is some confusion as to whether Jane has a female date.
The Girl With Two Breasts - There is a very attractive girl in the bar, when Jeff goes to talk to her, he finds she is Israeli. With the confusion he thinks her name is 'Shadayim' (Breasts in Hebrew.) She then thinks Jeff fancies her flat chested translator
The Cupboard of Patrick's Love - When Jane goes round to Patrick’s flat, she discovers that he has a cupboard full of videos of his ex-girlfriends. Susan visits Patrick to ask him never to show 'her' film to anyone. Everyone has seen it but not noticed it isn't her.
SERIES TWO
The Man With Two Legs - Jeff likes a woman he has seen on the train every morning. When he speaks to her he tells her he’s only got one leg. She also offers Jeff a possible threesome. Jeff then begs Sally’s new boyfriend to chop his leg off.
My Dinner In Hell - Steve and Susan are watching a documentary about men masturbating even when in a stable relationship. Susan’s parents, who are notoriously frank in discussing sex, arrive for supper. In his paranoia, Steve thinks they are taunting him about his habits, and furiously asks them to leave. Steve then accidently gives Susans mother a gift wrapped dildo of Patrick.
Her Best Friend's Bottom - Steve went to Susan’s flat and saw Sally emerging from the shower. That was forgivable -but why did Sally remove the towel and ask Steve whether she was attractive?
The Melty Man Cometh - We find out what was really going on in the previous episode...We then discover that Patrick had a visit from the Melty Man
Jane and the Truth Snake - Jane gets firde from her job reporting traffic jams after she instructs London’s drivers to close their eyes and meditate. Jane then attempts suicide but is afraid to take more pills than it say on the pscket as that is dangerous. She creates a pink sock puppet called Jake the Snake, who always tells the truth.
Gotcha - It’s the anniversary of Steve and Susan’s first date and they are going to a posh restaurant to celebrate.Some hurtful comments from Jane make Susan feel insecure, so she begins to view to meal in the restaurant as some sort of military campaign to get Steve to prove he prefers her to Jane.
Dressed - Jane is invited to dinner by Bill. She decides to turn up wearing nothing underneath her trenchcoat. Unfortunately, she discovers there are a dozen other guests. Patrick is competing with Ivan, a workmate. Ivan has a glamorous trophy wife, so Patrick decides he needs one too, just for the evening. He recruits Sally, then changes his mind and claims Susan for his 'bride' (he 'needed a blonde').
Naked - Jeff has found his female counterpart, a woman who can’t help blurting out ridiculous things. It seems that their mutual uselessness will prevent either of them from asking each other out. Julia is a senior manager at his firm. Steve tells Julia that Jeff is in fact very keen on her. After a kiss, Julia leads him blindfolded into an office, He does an ecstatic strip tease. Unfortunately, Julia was leading him into his surprise birthday party.
The End Of The Line - It seems that the honeymoon is over for Steve and Susan. A bizarre set of misunderstandings brings on a crisis. Susan’s phone is accidentally swapped with Jeff’s, resulting in Susan finding out that Steve gave his number to a girl he met in the bar. Susan walks out of the flat in tears. Is this the end?
